Sufiya Bray is a Senior Advocacy Officer and Project Manager at the Center for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR). She is a human rights defender and practitioner with a background in Law.
Her work focuses on the development and implementation of policy and institutional reforms on conflict transformation, peace-building, transitional justice and torture. Her experience includes advocacy, research, training, capacity building, policy analysis, policy development and project management in the peace, security, reconciliation, justice, gender mainstreaming and sexual and gender based violence fields. She has worked extensively with continental and national policy makers, civil society actors and academics in post-conflict and transitional countries in Africa and the Middle East.
