Maiara Folly is a Co-Founder and Programme Director of Plataforma CIPÓ. She is a Brazilian researcher in international relations and public policy residing in London. She leads and participates in research projects and advocacy initiatives in the areas of environmental crime, international peace and security, women,peace and security and studies of refugee and forced migration, including displacement caused by climate change. She obtained a master's degree from the Department of International Development at the University of Oxford and a degree in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC) of Rio de Janeiro.
