Julia designs and advises GIZ projects so that they adequately take into account the social opportunities and risks of digital transformation. Before she started working in GIZ HQ, she was based in the Philippines working for a WASH project. In Afghanistan, she was team leader in a GIZ project to strengthen subnational public administration. Julia studied geography and participated in the postgraduate program at the Center for Rural Development in Berlin. She is also trained as multimedia journalist.

The FriEnt Peacebuilding Forum is a series of events on current and overarching challenges and trends in peacebuilding. With the Peacebuilding Forum, we want to provide future-oriented impulses for the development of peacebuilding and strengthen the visibility and importance of the policy field in its entirety.
