Philosopher and Master in Political Studies. With a professional career of 25 years in peace building processes. Researcher in social and political sciences, with emphasis on peace research. He counts with professional experience in the fields of project coordination, teaching, knowledge management, political participation, conflict analysis and transformation, and social organization strengthening processes. Characterized by the capacity to direct and/or coordinate entities of the social sector and professional work teams, the management of planning processes, management, execution, evaluation and systematization of projects. He has developed academic, administrative and practical skills for the orientation of social, organizational and institutional programs. Currently acting as the National Coordinator of the Network of Regional Development and Peace Programs (Redprodepaz) and Executive Director of the Redprodepaz Foundation.

The peacebuilding field counts with many networks, both longstanding and nascent. Exchange, joint learning and joint actions, as focused on in the “relate” cluster, do mark these networks’ functions. Starting with input from three networks from Colombia, Germany and South-East Asia, we will discuss potentials and limitations of networking for peace.

The FriEnt Peacebuilding Forum is a series of events on current and overarching challenges and trends in peacebuilding. With the Peacebuilding Forum, we want to provide future-oriented impulses for the development of peacebuilding and strengthen the visibility and importance of the policy field in its entirety.
