Working Group on Peace and Development (FriEnt)

Anja Justen coordinates the FriEnt Peacebuilding Forum 2021. Since 2019, she has been working for the FriEnt as a consultant for cooperation management and as deputy director. Until 2018, Anja was a peacebuilding officer for the Consortium Civil Peace Service (CPS) and was its representative within the FriEnt-Team. Before, she implemented a project to promote active citizenship at the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW), was a CPS peace expert in the Indonesia project of the international human rights organisation Peace Brigades International (pbi) and worked for various organisations in international cooperation. A training in consulting and organisational development complements her experience in facilitating and accompanying teams, organisations, networks and leaders in learning and change processes. Anja is a Do No Harm trainer and studied political science at the Philipps University of Marburg and at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. Currently, one of her interests is to harness the potential of agile organisational development and collegial leadership.

The FriEnt Peacebuilding Forum is a series of events on current and overarching challenges and trends in peacebuilding. With the Peacebuilding Forum, we want to provide future-oriented impulses for the development of peacebuilding and strengthen the visibility and importance of the policy field in its entirety.
